Therapy School Contracts (Districts)

Since 2016, we have been contracting with school districts and private schools to provide OT, PT, and speech treatment, screening, evaluation, and case management via virtual learning and in-person visits. We are located in Missouri and have a special interest in serving rural communities with reduced access to services.

  • Currently, there is no minimum caseload requirement.

  • We supply therapists to cover full-time positions or provide just enough treatment to help alleviate a bulging caseload without hiring another employee.

Therapy School Contracts (Private schools)

showme provides screening, evaluation, and treatment in private schools for students that do not qualify for district services. this is a private service and can be offered to any families that are interested in increased support.

  • Parent-pay model: With permission from administration, ShowMe can send therapists into private schools to complete privately funded therapy sessions. This allows for increased collaboration between therapists and educators. Staff will work with teachers to choose a therapy time that works well with the student’s classroom schedule.

  • School-sponsored model: Assure you are meeting the needs of all your students by offering therapy services directly to your students. ShowMe is a great resource for students that do not meet eligibility for IEP services but are still in need of extra support.

VIRTUAL THERAPY

We offer virtual evaluation, treatment, and case management across the state of MO. Your therapist will coordinate with teachers to schedule each student according to their needs.

  • Generally speaking, the students do not need a staff member to sit next to them during the session, only to be there to help get them seated and log them in.

  • Even as young as preschool, we typically have no difficulty holding the student's attention during the session, with minimal adult intervention. It is somewhat of a perk to tele-practice, that the student gets to look at a screen...they typically find it exciting. The child is able to draw and click on the screen to keep them engaged.

  • Your therapist can provide one-on-one sessions or sessions in groups of 2, depending on the needs of the students and preferences of the district. We are also able to host group meetings through our online platform and can perform case management duties from afar.

  • At their scheduled time, the students log on to the "therapy room" to begin the session.

  • The session itself will look largely the same as a face-to-face session, with treatment of the student's individual goals through interactive speech activities and lesson plans.

  • We have all of our most used workbooks uploaded to our "rooms" and a long list of videos that your therapist will incorporate when appropriate.

  • We keep individual data for each session that can be made available to staff or parents at any time.

Please see the below requirements for beginning services with your district:

  • Internet connection and computer

  • Local contact person who will assist with printing and logging into the computer (could be a paraprofessional, teacher, secretary, or other staff member).

  • Access to the district’s IEP documentation system.
